Returns, refunds and cancellations

THE SELLER

The Seller is James Hardinge Ltd registered in England and Wales at Companies House No. 7556438. Registered Office . Greytown House 221-227, High Street, Orpington Kent BR6 0NZ. VAT registration number 109 7645 93.

DEFINITIONS

The seller, James Hardinge Ltd, we, us, our: are used to describe the shop owner.

The customer, I, you: are all used to describe the buyer and anyone else representing the buyer.

ORDER CHANGES

Can I change or cancel my order?

Our orders are cut promptly, therefore we are unable to amend or cancel your order once it has been placed. As this is a custom order, your goods will not be covered under the Consumer Contract (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Can I add items to my order?

Items cannot be added to an order once it has been placed. You will need to place a new order for the additional items.

Can I remove items from my order?

It is not possible to remove items from an order once it has been placed.

How do I change my delivery address?

For security and fraud prevention the delivery address cannot be changed once the order has been placed.

RETURNS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

James Hardinge is committed to selling only the finest, high quality products.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you buy goods from us online or by phone, your consumer rights entitle you to cancel your order* and obtain a full refund if you request one within 14 days after delivery of the goods. This does not apply to cut to length fabrics.

*Exclusions

We are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on all cut to length fabrics.

Your statutory rights in respect of faulty, damaged or missing items or goods which are not as described are not affected.

REPLACEMENT POLICY

If a delivery arrives and the product(s) are damaged or faulty you will need to notify us at contact@jameshardinge.com as soon as possible or within 5 days of the delivery date to allow us to rectify the problem, failing which we shall be under no liability in respect of such non-delivery or damaged goods. you will need to return the goods in the original packing to us for inspection, at your own expense and please enclose the invoice.

DELIVERY

(a) Although every effort will be made by us to meet the estimated delivery time, this cannot be guaranteed by us, who shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by reason of any delay in delivery and in no case shall the estimated date or time of delivery become a term of the contract.

(b) The customer must notify us in writing of the non-receipt of any goods or the receipt of any damaged goods within 5 days of the delivery date, failing which the supplier shall be under no liability in respect of such non-delivery or damaged goods.
